About Epsom Insurance

After a successful career in the US Navy, Michael Sklarin founded the Epsom Insurance Agency in 1976. The office was located at his family homestead on Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom NH. A residence that had been in his spouse Claire’s family since the 1700s.

Mike was a very involved member of the community in Epsom and worked with many families and local businesses. He supported the Epsom Town School Board, Epsom Youth Athletic Association, Merrimack County 4-H, and other local non-profits with donations and personal time. Mike worked alongside his daughter Hilary and other staff to service their valued clients. The office wrote both personal and commercial insurance all around NH.

In 2018, the Fortified Insurance Agency worked with Epsom Insurance Agency to take over the service for all the Epsom clients. During the following year, Fortified connected with all of the clients to review coverage and maintain Epsom’s solid relationship with clients. Sadly, Mike passed away in June 2019 and will be missed by many.

Fortified Insurance Agency is honored and proud to continue the history of service to the Epsom Insurance Agency clients. The agency is proud to say their longest-tenured client, dating back to 1981, is still working with the agency today.
